1st ASSISTANT DIRECTION
Although the job entails organizing, not every production is the same. Regardless the position requires you to 'make the day,' as a 1st AD is also important to understand you are telling a story to prioritize the needs of that day. Therefore when I do this position, I work closely with the director to understand what he/she is trying to communicate to the production get to have a final product.
